CUSTOM CABLE INFILL GUARDRAIL, HANDRAIL SYSTEMS & ILLUMINATED STAIRS
WONDERS OF WILDLIFE NATIONAL MUSEUM & AQUARIUM

500 West Sunshine Street
Springfield, MO 65807
The Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium in Springfield, Missouri is a celebrated landmark for the city and part of the world-famous Bass Pro headquarters. The aquarium and wildlife museum feature several fabrications built by CMPI and installed on-site by our sister company, Architectural Technology, Inc. The most impressive features are the lighted glass stairs and walkways, which are found throughout the aquarium. Our team also furnished and installed cable rails, glass panel guardrails, handrails, stainless elevator enclosures and other stainless parts, making this one of CMPI's biggest projects to date.

COMPLETION

This project was completed in 2018, and truly demonstrates the versatility and precision of our custom architectural products. Stainless steel is a recycled metal and requires little maintenance, making it the eco-friendly choice for this nature museum.

CLIENTS

CMPI's clients for our work on the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium were Whiting-Turner and Nabholz Construction. This is just one of many landmark sites in our hometown of Springfield, MO that we have installed our custom ornamental metalwork, and we are proud to be involved in building this historic public attraction for Bass Pro Shops.
