KSU WEFALD HALL

STAINLESS STEEL & TEMPERED GLASS GUARDRAIL WITH CUTOUT CARBON INFILL PANELS
WEFALD RESIDENCE HALL

KANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY
1805 Claflin Road
Manhattan, Kansas 66506
Wefald Residence Hall is located on the Kansas State University Campus in Manhattan, Kansas. CMPI did some very unique work in fabricating the many guardrails and handrails throughout the dining hall area of the building. The alternating glass panels and cutout carbon steel fabrications are an outstanding feature that superbly demonstrate the skill of our design and fabrication departments. CMPI's work was installed on-site by our sister company, Architectural Technology, Inc.

COMPLETION

This project was completed in 2017. This project is notable for the unique carbon steel cut-out panels that CMPI fabricated as part of the glass panel and stainless guardrail system. Stainless is a recycled material and resists corrosion, meaning less maintenance required.

PROJECT SCOPE

CLIENTS

CMPI's client for our work on Wefald Residence Hall at KSU was Crossland Construction Company. This is just one of several renovations and new construction projects at Kansas State University, and we look forward to many more partnerships with construction companies and contractors as the University continues to upgrade facilities on campus.
